Well, I am new to blogging just like I am new to being a stay at home mama, at least for the next few months. On October 1st, 2013, I retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. I had always wanted to become a pilot...so, I was an aircraft maintenance officer, a KC-135 pilot, a university instructor, a strategist, an intel officer...as you can tell, I was a jack of all trades (once one dream was realized, new ones evolved). While I was on my terminal leave from the Air Force, I went to culinary school, studying classic French and Italian cuisine and managed to get my level one certification as a sommelier. Another dream realized.
Now, I am taking a break, enjoying my role as Tony's mama (the ultimate dream), being a loving and supporting wife to my husband, exploring the world of blogging, and hoping to discover a new career path that will allow me to do all the things I have only started to dream about.
